Blake's 1 Year Old!!!

Man, I can't believe a whole year has gone by since we met Mr. Blake!!

In some way it has flown by, but it definitely was a hard year at times. With the colic, acid reflux, RSV, and pneumonia we had our rough patches. But Blake really is a happy boy now compared to then. We really have a hard time remembering life before him. Our lives are enriched that much more because of Blake.

**He loves saying Dada...we've moved away from MaMa! He rarely will say it now unless he's whining. He says uh oh, eieio (from old mc donald song), duh duh (for dog), he'll growl when playing with any kind of animal toy, says Mah mah (for mickey mouse), and hi!

**He's still loving food. Not much he won't eat!! I seriously have to just stop giving him food. Never seems full!!  Drinking whole milk and water now! (yay!! Mommy's done pumping!)

**He loves Mickey Mouse and Paw Patrol like his brother!

**He loves all musical things. Musical toys are his favorite. He loves to dance the minute any music comes on. Hopefully he'll be my musically inclined child!! He loves doing patty cake or Old McDonald.

**Blake is definitely a little clingy with mommy but is also LOVING daddy right now!! The minute he hears the door open, he starts saying Dada over and over again and gets the biggest smile!!

**He has 2 bottom teeth with a top tooth fixing to come through. We are slow to getting teeth in our household!

** Blake is walking some. No full fledge yet, but will take several steps and then fall.

**He LOVES Carter!! If only Carter would let him play with him all the time!! haha

**He still gets into EVERYTHING! Got to keep a big eye on him!!

**And Blake definitely doesn't get NO. If he's doing something he shouldn't I'll tell him no and move him or something and he'll just start laughing at me hysterically! uhhh not good! Not sure what to do about that.

Blake's Birthday Party

Tomorrow is Blake's 1st Birthday! On Sunday we had a fun party at the house for Blake!!! He had a great time and enjoyed the cake, but was done pretty fast and didn't want anymore!! We can't believe its already been a year!!!

Carter's 3rd Birthday Parties

Carter had Paw Patrol Birthday Parties this year!! On Saturday he had a party at The Little Gym with his friends. On Sunday we had a family party and then on Monday we surprised him by taking him to Chuck E. Cheese for his actual Birthday!! To say he's spoiled would be an understatement, haha. He had a blast!

Happy 3rd Birthday, Carter!!

I can't believe my first baby boy is 3 YEARS OLD!!! So crazy!!

Carter is 38 inches tall and weighs 36lbs!

This boy is so funny, sweet, crazy, and a handful all rolled into one!!

Carter LOVES trains, cars, trucks, and Legos. He loves putting together puzzles too right now. He's always up for playing outside!! He got a bike for his birthday and is excited about learning how to ride it! Carter loves to read too!!

He sleeps probably 10-11 hours at night and takes one 1-2 hour nap. He's really come around in the last year with eating!! More well rounded with his food.

He's adjusted fairly well this year to being a big brother. The biggest issues we have is him being careful and gentle around Blake and not taking toys and such from his brother.  He definitely doesn't like Blake to touch his stuff or mess with his things. But he totally wants to play with Blakes stuff!! He is excited Blake is going to be his sidekick for Halloween!

Carter definitely has a mind of his own. Does what he wants, ignores us, lies about things, throws tantrums, oh you know, the normal 2-3 year old things!! haha! He can wear us out, but then can throw on the charm.

He loves to give us hugs and kisses. He'll tell Kevin and me we are his best friends.

He has lots of favorite shows. Right now Paw Patrol and PJ Masks are his favorite. And he loves all of the Pixar movies. Carter and Dad are already planning on going to see The Good Dinosaur over Thanksgiving! Carter can't wait!

He also loves his friends. He has a great time with his friends from school, and loves hanging out with his friends from church. He also has started making lots of friends in the neighborhood, and is always asking to go ride his bike with them.
