25 random things....

I did this on facebook, but I thought I'd post it on here too.

25. I'm obsessed with Kelly Clarkson (if ya didn't know), I think she has an amazing voice and is an amazing person!

24. My sister and I use to put on plays for our parents and their friends in the living room. Needless to say, they finally told us to stop.

23. I was totally that kid who cried in elementary when someone else got a better grade than me; man what happened to that person! HA!

22. I dont have a dog of my own living with me at the moment, but since I've been in college i've become aunts to about 4 dogs (Missy, Boo, Cooper, and Tanner). Awwwh I love them!

21. I worked at sonic in high school, and no i didn't wear rollerskates. Well I did once and told my manager that unless he wanted the food all over the ground I wasn't doing that again.

20. Singing is my passion! Anyone who know me when I was younger knows that. Unfortunately I don't sing much anymore, other than with the car radio (and yes at the top of my lungs). But I do love it and in another life, i'd be a singer!

19. I'm a very passionate person. Some people might say I can get obsessed with things, but I love things to the fullest and love doing things to the fullest and I wouldn't want it any other way.

18. I have a Goddaughter named Addison and she turns 1 next month....she is sooo precious...i love her!

17. I'm the pickiest eater you'll probably ever come across.

16. I love the University of Texas and everything about it, I seriously thought when I was younger that I had orange blood, because that is what my mom told me. So I went around and told all of my friends that.

15. I hate being by myself.

14. I have the worst sweet tooth ever!! I really wish I could work on that.

13. I love to travel!! I've been to some great places, but there are SOOO many places I still want to go...with Italy being at the top of that list!! Hopefully in the next couple of years I will make that happen!

12. i hate pencils...I will only use pens! random, i know!

11. I'm terrible about working out, but right now i'm trying to run 2-3 times a week with Kevin!

10. I love jewelry...especially earrings. I don't think I ever have enough and I always want more!! The bigger the better too!

9. I watch WAY too much television!! Let's see currently I watch....about 8-9 shows a week...ya...it's bad!

8. I love pictures...i think ever since I was a cheerleader in high school...i've just been obsessed with taking pictures all the time with all my friends and such!

7. My favorite place to eat is CHILI's...i just love their queso!

6. I HATE driving at night...something about all the lights and it being dark...ugh just hate it.

5. If i couldn't live in Austin anymore, I'd want to move to San Diego...its amazing! But I love austin, so i dont want to leave!

4. I'm really good with directions!!

3. I love baseball...especially college. I've been to the Omaha twice when Texas was in the national championship game!

2. I've never been happier in my life, than I am right now!

Wedding Planning is Under Way.....

Well things have been busy with wedding planning ALREADY! We got our venues, my wedding dress, a photographer, and a few other things. Kevin and I have a few cake appointments this week, which I know he's excited about!

The New Year, thus far....

So i'm behind as Kevin reminded me yesterday on posting....NYE came and went. We had a lot of fun! Kevin and I went out with some friends to dinner downtown to Iron Cactus. 2008 was probably the best year for me, so I'm sad to see it go...but 2009 should be even better...i'm getting MARRIED!:)

Last weekend was a busy one...my parents came into town last friday and we went a bought my wedding dress :) !! YAY!! I'm way excited about that...then that night kevin and I went to the UT basketball game with my parents and had a great time! Saturday morning we got up bright and early and went and check out a reception site. It went really well, so I am thinking it's the one!! It is going to be good to knock out alot of these big things soon to get a load off of me!

Kevin has also decided to take up golf again. He says it is so he can play with my dad, since he doesn't have any sons. Kevin says he's doing it for me and my dad, but he's doing it for himself, which is good! He even went out and bought some clubs last weekend and played for the first time. He decided he needed to buy some clubs so he's committed to the game. It seems as though he's pretty obsessed with the game right now though....he's always sending me things he thinks he needs to get to help his game...lol!

And last night the Longhorns played in the Fiesta Bowl. We should be in the National Championship Game, but thats another story. The horns about gave me a heart attack...but they pulled it off at the end and came out victorious!! HOOK 'EM HORNS!!!

CHRISTMAS HOLIDAYS

WOW...so just got back into Austin last night after a week of traveling for the holidays! On Saturday the 20th, Kevin and I headed to Dallas to spend time with my family for the holidays. We hung out up there and then left for Birmingham the morning of the 23rd! On the 24th we had Christmas when Kevin's mom's side of the family and that night Christmas with his dad's mother and grandmother. We also went to two different Christmas Eve services there and I met sooooooo many people!

Then Christmas morning came and we had a great time with Kevin's family. THE BEST PRESENT I RECEIVED was from Kevin. It was the last present I opened...and it was a picture fame filled with pictures of our engagement. Apparently Kevin had someone up there taking pictures of us when he asked me to marry him. I couldn't believe it!!! I cried...the pictures were wonderful and it was sooo neat to have them captured in photographs!!! Here are a few!

Then my birthday came, and Kevin woke up early at his dad's and made me chocolate chip pancakes!! They were amazing!!! We spent the rest of the day doing some fun stuff. Then saturday night we flew back to Dallas, after a 2 hour delay on our flight. Got back in really late to Dallas, and then spent some time with my family on Sunday before we headed back to Austin.

AND TODAY is KEVIN'S BIRTHDAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Happy Birthday LOVE!!!

Tacky Christmas Sweater Party

So last Friday, my friend Shelby had a Tacky Christmas Sweater Party. All week I was trying to figure out what to wear. I look at goodwill and salvation army...and was coming up with NOTHING! Then I decided I might make something for Kevin and I to wear. I'm not that creative, so I knew whatever it was would be tacky! So after much searching at Hobby Lobby....here's what I came up:

I'm ENGAGED!!!!!!

So Saturday night Kevin asked me to MARRY HIM!!! Short version of the story, is we went to Mount Bonnell, one of our favorite places in Austin to "watch the sunset" as we have done a few other times. But this time, we sat there for a bit and then he told me to look at something...i didn't know what he was talking about. But before I knew it he was getting on his knee and trying to get the ring box outta his pocket. He asked me to marry him and across the lake was this HUGE sign that he had made that said "Will you marry me?" on it. It was amazing, and of course I said yes!!! Afterwards we went down where the sign was a took some pictures and then went and celebrated at Ruth Chris Steakhouse! It was an AMAZING NIGHT!!!! Here are some pictures to share!! No date for sure yet...but we'll let ya know soon!!! :) YAY!!!!
