Happy 5th Birthday Addison

I can't believe my sweet God daughter Addison is 5 years old today!! Ohh how time flies! Kevin and I weren't even dating when Addi was born!

We had a great weekend! My parents, Ashley, Heather, and Kevin's dad came into town Saturday! They obviously enjoyed spending time with Carter!! We went out to eat for dinner Saturday night to Matt's El Rancho. YUMMY!

Then on Sunday we had a Parent/Child dedication at church. This is something that was obviously important to Kevin and I. It was a commitment that we will raise our son in the church, be in community with other believers, and continue to pursue the Lord ourselves.

We took a class last month and came up with different commitments that we have in raising our son. Then yesterday we made the commitment in front our church.

I can't wait for the day Carter comes to know the Lord. That will be a special day; I tear up thinking about it!! I can only imagine the great things the Lord has planned for Carter. My prayer is that he is a man after God's own heart and that the Lord uses him to further his kingdom!

Carter's Rolling OVER!!!

Such a proud mommy moment!!! Carter has been toying with rolling over for a couple of weeks now, but its mostly been when he's on his back. He roll onto his side, but never get over that hump. Well last night he rolled over for the first time while on his tummy!!! I was shocked and didnt expect it. And I was bummed I didn't catch it on camera! We tried again all night, but he didn't do it again.

Well this morning, he did it for a 2nd time and I caught it on camera!!



He did it once more after this before he was tired and over it!!

So proud of my big boy...he's growing up so fast!! We gotta watch out for him more now if he's gonna be moving around.

Carter's 3 Months Old

Our Sweet Boy is 3 Month's Old Today!! 

I honestly can't believe 3 months has passed since I gave birth to him. He has grown into such a little man full of personality.

*He loves to talk now. Always jibbering away and talks back to us. It is super cute.
*He loves to play with this wired like ball because he can put his fingers in between it and hold it. BUT, he tries to put it in his mouth and he gets super frustrated when it won't.
*He is really good at grabbing things and bringing it up to his mouth.
*He loves to lay on his back and sway from side to side. Getting closer to rolling over.
*He loves tummy time and pulling up and rocking from side to side a bit.
*He loves Scout his Leap Frog Dog.
*He also loves his dance and wiggle dog.
*He loves doing everything he can to watch TV. We try and face him away from the tv, but he'll try and maneuver his head to where he can see it.
*He's usually in such a good mood in the morning when he wakes up. Always smiling.
*He's sleeping normally 9-9.5 hours at night. (Mommy and Daddy love this!)
*He enjoys looking around outside when we go for walks, but then usually falls asleep.

Last week we went to the doctor and he weighed 15 1/2 lbs. Growing like a weed!!!

Christmas 2012 Pics

New Year!

I don't know if 2013 can top 2012!! We were blessed to find out we were having a child and then we finally welcomed him into this world in 2012! We are excited though to watch Carter grow in 2013. He brings so much joy into our lives already, it will be neat to see him continually change and grow!

We had a wonderful Christmas with all of our family! It was nice to have Kevin home with us for over a week! He heads back to work tomorrow and we are sad! Carter also starts going to his sitter next week!! Lots of changes in the next few weeks. Pray for us to get use to our new schedule!

Here is to hoping for a wonderful 2013!! We already have a few exciting trips planned! Alabama in March for a wedding, Panama City Beach in May, and Chicago probably in August to visit Ashley and Patrick!!
